
#6 Women’s Tennis sweeps past LR on road to 17-0 start
Hickory, N.C. —- The 6th-ranked Catawba College women's tennis breezed past South Atlantic Conference rival Lenoir-Rhyne on the road on Saturday, improving to a league-best 17-0 overall on the season and a perfect 8-0 in league play.

DOUBLES
- Sofia Antolini and Rin Igarashi earned a 6-3 victory in #2s play to start off the day
- Ami Miya and Liliana Drukerova won in a dramatic tiebreaker to take the #1 doubles match and the doubles point with it, 7-6
SINGLES
- Vaishnavi Venkatesh rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 victory in #6s action
- Anna Wise earned a quick 6-0, 6-2 victory at #2s
- Drukerova helped clinch the match with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at the #4 singles match
- Antolini led 6-3, 0-1 in the top-ranked singles match
- Miya took the first set of the 3rd-ranked Bears singles opponent, 6-2
