The official Catawba College Athletics logo should be used ONLY on materials related to athletics. The official, approved fonts for athletics are Octin College Bold (used primarily for headlines and quotes) and Montserrat (primary font for copy and text). Variations of the athletics logo may be obtained from the Marketing and Communications Office.
On occasion, the logo will need to be printed in reverse (on dark background). You may obtain the correct artwork from the Marketing and Communications Office.
Size – the athletics logo must never be reproduced smaller than the minimum size of 1 3/8 inches across. Please obtain an official mark from the Marketing and Communications Office.
Color Reproduction – the athletics logo must be printed in the athletic brand colors: navy (PMS 2767 C), red (PMS 186), grey (PMS Cool Grey), or white or black. For two color variations, it must be printed in navy (PMS 2767 C) and red (PMS 186). All other variations must be authorized by Marketing and Communications.

The athletic brand colors are all part of the primary College color palette to strengthen the overall College brand.
Primary Colors
Navy and white are the official athletics colors. The combination of these two colors are a main representation of the College.
Navy is the dominant color of usage while white is typically reserved for text used on top of the navy and/or the page color on which the athletic marks appear. Background colors may be blue or white, but you never use a secondary color as a background color.

Secondary Colors
All secondary colors may be used to complement the primary color palette. Secondary colors should never overwhelm the primary colors in any application and should be used when appropriate. Best usage of secondary colors is in headlines, call-outs, quotes, and graphics.
