Chattanooga, Tenn. —- The 29th-ranked Catawba College women's tennis team improved to a perfect 10-0 on the season with a 4-0 sweep of UIndy in the team's final game at the Scenic City Invitational in Chattanooga on Tuesday.

 

HOW IT HAPPENED

DOUBLES

- Ami Miya and Liliana Drukerova earned a 6-2 win in #1 doubles play

- Sofia Antolini and Rin Igarashi picked up a tigh 7-5 victory in #2s to claim the doubles point

 

SINGLES

- Anna Wise cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win in #2 singles action

- Vaishnavi Venkatesh followed suit with a straight-set 6-1, 6-3 win at #5s

- Igarashi helped clinch the match with a 6-2, 6-2 win against the #6 UIndy opponent

- Miya led 6-0, 3-2 at the clinch point; Antolini led 6-1, 4-3
