Clay makes SAC history; #30 Women’s XC places second at SAC Championships

Newberry, S.C. —- Junior Madi Clay claimed her third straight individual title at the South Atlantic Conference Championships, becoming the first runner – male or female – in league history to accomplish the feat. 

The 30th-ranked Catawba women finished second out of 13 teams at the league championships hosted at Newberry College. 

Natalie Almond and Hannah Caudill also earned top-10 finishes, with ninth- and 10th-place marks, respectively.
