Caudill, #20 Women’s Cross Country sweep Catawba Invite titles

Salisbury, N.C. —- The 20th-ranked Catawba College women's cross country repeated as team champions at the Fleet Feet Invite at Salisbury Community Park on Saturday morning, placing runners in each of the top six spots. Sophomore Hannah Caudill claimed the individual title, the first of her collegiate career.

Caudill, an Asheville, N.C. product, improved her time from last year's home meet by 15 seconds to pace the Catawba Indian runners with a mark of 18:32.46. Back-to-back SAC Runner of the Year Madi Clay finished as a close runner-up just six seconds behind.

Catawba finished ahead of North Greenville, Emory & Henry & Pfeiffer to claim the team crown.
