
PREVIEW: Women's Volleyball battles 'Dogs in Tuesday evening affair
SALISBURY, N.C. – The Catawba College women's volleyball team plays host to Wingate in a South Atlantic Conference rematch on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
Saturday Sweep
- Catawba made a statement on Saturday afternoon, dishing out a 3-0 blanking to the University of Charleston for the program's first-ever win over the Golden Eagles
- The Catawba Indians notched their second-best hitting percentage of the year at .194
- Lillie Kate Rogers had team-high marks of 11 kills and nine digs to prove that her breakout performance at Coker was no fluke
- Haley Moffett led the setting with 15 assists while Sydney McCutcheon chalked up her 10th straight game in double figures at 10 helpers
- Sydney Wattles finished off the weekend with a four-block affair, totaling seven in the two-match slate

- Rogers is posting 3.36 kills per set in three matches, leading the blue and white's hitters with a .211 hitting clip and slotting third in digs per set (2.45)
- McCutcheon ranks seventh among SAC setters at 5.60 assists per stanza and maintains a .291 hitting percentage, the team's highest
- Logging four straight matches with 10 or more assists, Moffett has raised her per-set value to 3.13 to follow right behind McCutcheon
- Wattles' seven-block weekend lifted the first-year Catawba Indian to the team lead in blocks per set, averaging 0.73 stops per frame
