
PREVIEW: Women’s Basketball wraps up road trip at LMU
Harrogate, Tenn. —- The Catawba College women's basketball team looks to bounce back on Saturday, as it wraps up its three-game South Atlantic Conference road trip with their longest trek of the season, traveling to Lincoln Memorial for the finale of the season series with the Railsplitters at 2 p.m.

THE HISTORY
- Catawba leads the all-time series 21-15
- The Railsplitters are 11-8 in Harrogate against the Catawba Indians

THE FIRST MEETING
- Catawba came out victorious in the teams' first meeting in Goodman Arena back on Nov. 30, 66-59
- Brooklin Ingram poured in a career-best 21 points with seven rebounds to earn the win
- The Catawba Indian defense held LMU to 33 percent shooting from the field, but the Railsplitters grabbed 19 offensive rebounds, turning them into 15 second-chance points
DOUBLE-DOUBLE TROUBLE
- Janiya Foskey posted her fourth double-double of the season in the loss at Coker on Wednesday with a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds
- Foskey also recorded a double-double in the win over LMU earlier this season; Foskey has scored 10 or more points in each game she has grabbed 10 rebounds
- Wednesday was the first time Catawba has lost this season when Foskey has recorded 10 or more rebounds (at Anderson, vs. LMU, at Tusculum)
HEALING UP
- Wednesday saw the return to action of Jada Porter, who missed 12 games due to injury
- Porter, who has recorded 57 starts in the last three seasons for the Catawba Indians, came off the bench for six minutes
- With Mary Spry also back into the fold for Catawba after missing 13 games to start the season, McCutcheon utilized a 13-person rotation on Wednesday
SCOUTING THE RAILSPLITTERS
- LMU has experienced a homecourt disadvantage so far this season, losing its last four home games (1-4 overall at home this season), while winning its last three road games (5-3 on road this season)
- The highlight of the stretch came when the 'Splitters knocked off 22nd-ranked Carson-Newman on the road on Jan. 8
- In their most recent win at Tusculum, Matty Tanner led the way with a career-high 28 points with seven three-pointers after a two-point outing in the loss vs. Coker on Jan. 11
