Women’s Indoor Track and Field competes at Camel City Sprints Invite

Winston-Salem, N.C. —- The Catawba College women's indoor track and field team hit the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem on Friday for the Camel City Sprints Invite.

 

HOW IT HAPPENED

400-Meter Dash

- Letsi Burgos was the top Catawba finisher in the 400-meter dash, placing sixth with a mark of 59.01

 

60-Meter Hurdles

- Lilly Wolf placed seventh in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles, completing in 9.27

 

60-Meter Dash

- Mallory Witherspoon posted a podium finish in the 60-meter dash with a third-place 7.70

- Efe Egberi was seventh at 7.83

 

200-Meter Dash

- Skylar Southern was Catawba's top finisher in the 200-meter dash with an effort of 25.94

- Egberi was not far behind with a time of 26.08, good for 16th

 

4x400-Meter Relay

- Catawba's team of Burgos, Southern, Sanaia Hill and Eden Barnwell finished as the runner-up behind winner Emory with a time of 4:05.44
