HEAR FROM HEAD COACH MIC MOORE

"Wingate is an incredible team. We knew playing #6 in the nation after we lost 0-7 in the season would be tough," Moore said. "But I told them to accept this would be hard, don't be shocked when it is and face adversity with a force. After losing the doubles point, we did just that. The entire facility was echoing "Go [Catawba] Indians" from start to finish. Catawba Culture truly makes a difference. We stuck together and stayed full of energy start to finish. Just like that, we reigned in one point at a time until our sophomore and tournament MVP, Ami Miya, locked in the victory with the final point."
