
PREVIEW: Women’s Lacrosse hits the road to face Mars Hill
MARS HILL, N.C. – The Catawba College women's lacrosse team heads to the High Country to continue South Atlantic Conference play against the Mars Hill Lions on Saturday at 3 p.m.
First SAC Win
- Despite letting Emory & Henry get the first two licks in, Catawba swarmed the Wasps to chalk up a 16-5 victory for the first league and home wins of the year
- Catawba dominated the shot count by a 36-16 margin and finished with a whopping 15-8 advantage on the draw
- After being honored on Senior Day, the graduating class combined for nine goals
- Michaela Lantz racked up a hat trick on three scores while Charlize Skepple and Joey Baillie recorded four points on two goals and two assists apiece
