
Men’s Cross Country finishes 2nd at 50th Paul Short Run Brown Race
Bethlehem, Pa. —- The Catawba College men's cross country team placed second in the Brown Race at the 50th Paul Short Run, finishing ahead of 21 Division I programs in the race hosted at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
Catawba's 128 points finished behind team champion Davis & Elkins' 79 points. Division I Colgate finished third, followed by Shippensburg and DI New Hampshire to round out the top five.
Oussama Ajala once again paced the Catawba Indians on the men's side, earning his third straight top-10 finish with a 10th-place, 24:57.6 effort. James Shue, Andrew Whitehead and Ian Pierce crossed the finish line within three seconds, each earning a top-30 finish.
