
Porter punches ticket to 100m final to highlight Track and Field’s opening day at Outdoor National Championships
Pueblo, Colo. —- Catawba College senior sprinter Winfred Porter earned a spot in Saturday's championship final in the men's 100-meter dash to highlight Catawba Track and Field's opening day at the Division II National Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Pueblo, Colorado on Thursday.

Men's 4x100m Relay
- Catawba's team suffered a DNF in the 400m relay
Men's 100m Dash
- Porter posted a 10.08-second mark in the preliminary rounds of the 100m dash, good for fifth-fastest on Thursday
- The mark is a top-15 mark in Division II history across all conditions
Women's 10K Run
- Madi Clay finished 18th in the women's 10K run with a time of 37:03.53, three spots ahead of her seed time
