Porter sets record individual national finish in Catawba history at NCAA Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships

Indianapolis, Ind. —- Catawba senior Winfred Porter and junior Miles Stephens both competed in the championship final of the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships in Indianapolis on Saturday; Porter earned a national runner-up finish to earn the highest individual finish in Catawba Athletics history.

- Porter raced to a 6.65 to earn a second-place finish

- Stephens' mark of 7.76 was good for eighth place
