
Minichowski sets highest national finish in Men’s Swimming history at Day Three of NCAA DII Championships
Indianapolis, Ind. —- The Catawba College men's swimming team saw more program history set at Day Three of the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming Championships in Indianapolis on Thursday, as Maks Minichowski earned a record-high finish of fourth in the 200 freestyle.

MORNING SESSION
200 Yard Freestyle Preliminaries
- Minichowski placed fourth during the preliminary round of the 200 freestyle, punching his ticket for the right to compete for a national championships later on in the evening
EVENING SESSION
200 Yard Freestyle
- Minichowski followed up his preliminary performance with a fourth-place finish in the final, racing to a school-record time of 1:34.59 to earn the highest finish in program history
STANDINGS UPDATE
- Minichowski's finish helps Catawba stand 15th in the overall team standings at the DII Championships with two days remaining
