
Program-record 16 from Men’s and Women’s Swimming will compete at NCAA National Championships
Indianapolis, Ind. —- The Catawba College men's and women's swimming teams will send a program-record 16 student-athletes to Indianapolis March 11-15 for the NCAA Division II National Championships, the organization announced.
A total of ten Catawba student-athletes qualified to compete as an individual, with six more making the trip to compete as a part of a relay team. The 16-person travel party is quadruple the amount the team sent last year (4) to Indianapolis.
The Catawba Indians are coming off of a standout performance at the 2025 South Atlantic Conference Championships, where the teams both earned a runner-up finish. Gearing earned SAC Women's Coach of the Year honors, Maks Minichowski was named the SAC Men's Swimmer of the Meet with four SAC titles and Lillie Martin repeated as the SAC Elite 23 award winner on the women's side.
