Turner earns spot on USILA Team of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Peyton Turner of the Catawba College men's lacrosse team was selected to the USILA Division II Team of the Week Wednesday following his offensive explosion against Belmont Abbey.

Turner helped stretch the Catawba Indians' winning streak to three with three goals and two assists, a difference-making performance in the 13-11 victory over the nationally-prominent Crusaders.

The Cornelius, N.C. product leads the way offensively with 15 points on nine goals and six assists in the young season.

Catawba is back in action at home on Saturday against Barton at 2 p.m.
