Bio

Bradeb Thomson enters his second season as Running Backs and Tight Ends Coach at Catawba in the fall of 2024.

In 2023, Thomson helped Marquece Williams to an All-Division season, racking up over 400 yards rushing and eight rushing touchdowns. He also coached Kobe Christian, who had the most receiving yards of any tight end in the SAC.

Thomson joined the Catawba coaching staff as running backs and tight ends coach this past January after spending the past two seasons at Shepherd University. He most recently coached running backs, tight ends, and fullbacks as the Offensive Graduate Assistant.

While at Shepherd, Thomson assisted current Catawba Football Head Coach, Tyler Haines, with all aspects of the offensive game plan and situational play calling. He coached ALL - American running back, Ronnie Brown (2022) and ALL - American tight end, Brian Walker (2022). Brown finished the 2022 - 2023 season leading the NCAA in all purpose yards while Walker was one of the top receiving Tight Ends in the country. In both seasons Thomson worked with the Rams, they finished with a 13-2 record and advanced to the NCAA Division II Football Championship semifinals.

Prior to Shepherd, Thomson oversaw Offensive Quality Control at the University of Rhode Island and served as a Recruiting Assistant at Wake Forest University.

Thomson played college football at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA. During the 2019 season, they secured the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship Title.
