
Beach Volleyball sweeps past Saint Andrews in home finale
Salisbury, N.C. —- The Catawba College beach volleyball team earned two 4-1 wins over Saint Andrews in its final action at home in the 2025 season on Tuesday.

- Sidney Kettelkamp and Brooke Vaughan kept their hot streak rolling with a 21-9, 21-16 victory at #5s
- Christina Knotts and Morgan Childress swept their way to a 21-14, 21-16 victory at #2s
- Katie Willingham and Kennedy Kimbro helped clinch the match with a 21-11, 21-18 victory at #3s
- Ragan Ball and Taylor Vecchione fell in a tight opening set 21-19, but bounced back for a tight 21-19 win in set two before rolling to a 15-6 third-set win at #4s

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Knotts and Childress cruised to a dominant 21-4, 21-7 win in the #2s match
- Ball and Vecchione made it a 2-0 day with a 21-10, 21-15 victory
- Willingham and Kimbro followed suit with a win in the #3s match, 21-15, 21-11
- Riannel Arevalo and Hayes Smith bounced back from a close loss in the opening match with another contested matchup, winning a thrilling first set 25-23 before falling 15-21 in the second and converting the win with a 15-12 final frame
