Nora Simmers enters her third season at Catawba College as the Assistant Athletic Trainer from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Her primary coverage responsibilities are with the men’s lacrosse team and the women’s varsity soccer teams. 

Simmers earned her master’s degree in athletic training at West Chester. During her time with the Golden Rams, Simmers was able to work with women’s rugby and lacrosse. Simmers was also given the opportunity to work with the Philadelphia Soul, West Chester East High School and the Hill School during her time at West Chester.

Simmers is a BOC certified athletic trainer (ATC) and licensed in the state of North Carolina (LAT). Simmers is a proud Pittsburgh native who attended Seton Hill University. At Seton Hill University, Simmers earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and was a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse team. Simmers holds certifications in First Aid and CPR while being a member of NATA, EATA, and PATS.
