Bio

Michaela Kokoski joined the Catawba College Sports Medicine staff in 2021. She is primarily serving as Assistant Athletic Trainer for Catawba College’s Indoor Volleyball and Baseball teams.

Kokoski graduated from Shenandoah University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and in 2021 with a Master’s degree in Athletic Training. As an athletic training student, Kokoski was given the opportunity to work with Frederick County Public Schools in Winchester, Virginia and also spent the 2020-2021 school year at NC State primarily working with men’s soccer and wrestling.

Kokoski is a board-certified athletic trainer (ATC) and is licensed in the state of North Carolina (LAT). She also holds certifications in First Aid and CPR, Mental Health and First Aid (MHFA), and is a member of the NATA.
