Andy Lausier joined Catawba College Athletic Administration as the Associate Director of Athletics for Development in October of 2023.

Lausier comes to Catawba after spending nearly twenty years coaching collegiate wrestling. Most recently he spent five years as the Head Coach at Davidson College. From his start leading the program in May of 2017 to May of 2022, he raised over 1.7 million for Davidson wrestling.  This included funding for athletic scholarships, operating budgets, facility upgrades/construction, and new staff positions. He managed all aspects of program operations, including hiring of staff, scheduling, travel, budget management, purchasing, and event planning. 

 Prior to Davidson, Lausier served as the Head Wrestling Coach at Sacred Heart University where he was tasked with turning around a program with the longest losing streak in Division I. He coached two wrestlers into national ranking during the program's rebuild while raising over 300,000 dollars.  

 Lausier other stops include serving as the Head assistant wrestling coach at Princeton University (2007-2011), and Head wrestling coach at Stevens Institute of Technology where he started the program (2003-2007). 

Lausier began his duties on October 2nd.
