Salisbury, N.C. —- The Catawba College beach volleyball team earned two more wins on the Catawba Beach Volleyball Courts on Thursday, topping Wake Tech and Sandhills CC.

HOW IT HAPPENED

- Katie Willingham and Kennedy Kimbro cruised to a 21-8, 21-9 win in #4s

- Hayes Smith and Riannel Arevalo followed next with a 21-15, 21-10 sweep in #1s play

- Sidney Kettelkamp and Brooke Vaughan earned a hard-fought win in #5s, 21-16, 21-11

- Taylor Vecchione and Ragan Ball pulled out a tight 21-15, 21-14 win in #3s

 

Match Two | Catawba 5, Sandhills CC 0

HOW IT HAPPENED

- Kettelkamp and Kimbro combined for another quick win in #4s, defeating their counterparts 21-6, 21-11

- Christina Knotts and Brooklyn Calkins followed suit with a 21-7, 21-13 win at #2s

- Morgan Childress and Willingham earned a 21-8, 21-15 win in #3s

- Megan Halford and Vaughan picked up a 21-10, 21-17 win in #5s

- Smith and Arevalo grinded out a 21-15, 21-16 victory in #1s to earn the clean sweep
